I was wondering if anyone can help me with a problem I have.
I recently got a Mk 6 Zetec S and when I put my foot down on the clutch it makes a clicking noise sometimes.
I've read a few folk saying it's the clip that holds the hinge onto the rod has came off? Do you think this is it in the early stages? Because my clutch doesn't go right to the floor with no resistance... it works fine it just clicks sometimes when I put my foot down on it?


Any help will be appreciated

 

Is the click coming from the pedal area or from the clutch itself? I would try lubricating the pedal box and go from there.
