I cant get my lower cambelt cover fitted as one of the lugs has broken off. how can the timing be set without a reference mark? its already timed up but im going to be fitting a pulley/belt soon. the lug must have been damaged while the motor has been lying in the workshop,

 

Go you mean the lug on the lower cover or the bit on the oil pump it attaches to?

I prob have a lower cover spare.

 

the bit on the oil pump stu. what do you want for the cover, mine has seen better days to be honest
