have a couple of spare turbo's and wanted to build one good one up out of the stuff I have. basically I wanted to fit a .48housing to a stage 2 turbo I have but no matter whati do, there Is contact between the housing and the compressor. I fitted the .36 back on and theres no contact. am I wrong to think that all t3 turbo's should interchange, regarding the housings ect?

 

Yeah they should be interchangeable. Is there any carbon on the inside that's catching it?

 

Mine needed the exh housing machining slightly.
