Default Ford mondeo wont start

Hi Everyone I have a ford Mondeo MK3 Before this i had no issues at all.On Wednesday evening I pulled up in McDonald's
Car park went back to the car put key in the ignition turned it nothing it acted like it had a flat battery with the speedo clocks
turning and the air con came on and the radio asked for the code. And the light on the centre console clock flashed when i was
turning the key.So i phoned up green flag and and hour later they came out stuck a booster pack on it nothing still showing
symptoms it did before with the flat battery nothing just a click click sound he then hooked his van up to it and tried it again
nothing so he has a small look around the car and see the flashing led in the clock saying its your immobiliser your key
needs reprogramming so he called for a recovery truck so I didn't get in till 3am by then im very tired.Next day i jump up
and think il have a look at the car myself after doing a bit of reading I read the code from the pats system and the code
I got was 16.Now I left the battery on charge for a good 48Hrs and contacted a local mechanic and told him the issue
he said no way it can't be the mobiliser so next day he cam out threw all ridiculous accusations about like its timing chain
its the starter motor so after 5 min and £45 later he said starter motor f**ked mmmm i was not convinced by this at all
and after speaking to a friend he agreed very unlikely. So I rang someone else he came out and actually
bypassed the starter relay with a power probe and the starter motor spun the engine over so next he check to see if fuel is getting
to the injectors and it was then he check to see if their was any power to the injectors and their was nothing so he said
their has to be a fault in the immobiliser but to me it still didn't explain the fact that why the car was showing the symptoms
on the dashboard of a flat battery with the spinning dials etc. So today I go back out to the car check every fuse and relay
and try a few more tricks and no luck so I would appreciate any help you can offer.

I'd bite the bullet and take it in to your local Ford dealer. They should be able to diagnose the fault, then it's up to you whether you get them to rectify it, or take it elsewhere.

Obviously it'd have to be towed there, but at least you're more likely to get an accurate diagnosis rather than a string of guesses which in the long run could end up costing you more money
