Default mk4 efi fuel pump max bhp

been searching for a while now and not really getting anywhere so wondered if any of you can shed any light on it for me,

I'm currently restoring my rst, im also building a 2.1 zetec turbo engine to go in it along with full efi conversion running a boost monkeys ecu, my question is as im fitting the efi fuel tank with internal pump what pump should I be looking at fitting to get 250-300bhp?

thanks in advance

Why fit a tank with an internal pump if your standard tanks still in a serviceable condition ?

If it was me I'd stick with the external pump set up & fit an uprated pump to that possibly a standard cosworth one would be man enough for the job ?

My mfi tanks had it and my fuel pump cradles also shot, the efi tanks mint and will look alot neater underneath also,
there must be someone whos running a decent power cvh even that's running an efi tank and pump?

Hi mate, I am in the same boat as you with my Orion EFI and I am told that the Fiesta RS Turbo one fits on the internal, So an upgrade on the Fiesta RS is to get an Escort Cosworth Pump so I would say that,

Failing that MSD have some uprated pumps for the Fiesta RS

Or quite a bit cheaper and will flow for 350bhp on a CVH so more on a ZT.

Karlos,

when you fitted this to the EFI tank did you have to do any modifications to the sender or bracket or was it a straight swap?
