Hi All,

Have recently bought my first turbo ford. The dump valve doesn't seem to be working. The piston does not open under acceleration. Below is an image of the setup, is this correct? (the long blue tube running off to the right is connected to the baileys dump valve)

The boost gauge on idle shows -10 psi and under acceleration the boost reaches about 5psi even though the car is setup to run 18psi. Is this related to the dump valve issue?

 

Take the dump valve off and blank the boost and vacuum hoses. File dump valve in the bin, job done.
