PLEASE read this carefully
I'm going to be listing my close ratio T5 bernie box
Now this box was rebuilt by cts about 4 or so
Years ago as I had damaged a syncrow
On 3rd gear,
This was fitted to my dolomite the car hasn't been
Used in 4 years because ,
I drove it down to castle coombe from cov
And all was well
On track the engine decided to expire
This was due to crank bearings being worn out
Now before this happened there was a vibration through the gear stick
I put this down to the engine
Now having removed the box when it's in Any gear
Whilst turning the input shaft by hand it goes stiff
At the same point no matter what gear I've selected
It's not a lot of force to turn it it's just you can feel there is a difference
The gears all select effortless
Now it may just be me being anal or there may be a problem
Not being put back in the car I cannot tell
I just want to make this clear before I list it on the eBay
As I'm not one for ripping people off in anyway
And would like to get this clear,
The box had a number stamped on the side where there wi be a record with bernie
About the box and what it had done to it at cts
I did buy this gearbox new and I would say it's done about
20k
I'm going to list it Tommorow as my phone won't let me do it
