What do you want it on for? Performance increase or just a bit of noise?

An aftermarket air filter will probably loose you power as it will just suck in hot air from the engine bay. The standard set up is good enough, if you want the best performance then put in a performance panel filter into the original air box. If you want noise then remove the air filter box and mount your new filter on to the end of the air flow meter, but be prepared for it to use more fuel and probably not perform quite as well.

I took the air box right out and fitted a plastic panel and used the original induction hose for a good cold air feed to the filter.

Glen is that cold air feed just the bottom section of the original air box? Or is that a feed youve run from a front foglight hole?
