That's my old RS, I remember someone tagging me on IG with these pics. Got plenty of pics of her if you want buddy.

I bought it but only kept it a week then sold it on to a lad who was restoring it the last I heard.
Wanted one since I was a kid and when I bought it, the dream was better.

It looks beautiful buddy.

 

I just turned the laptop at my missus and said "Thats next!"

Just to clarify this is not my car, only wish it was. I took the photo at a recent car meet.

One of my dream cars is a big spec escort cossie.

 

Mark Shead has a lovely standard looking Escort in and he is fitting Autronic and Efr borg to it. I think this is the way to go and just have an uprated quiet (ish) gearbox....modernised without losing the originality of the car.
