Hi people, I've recently got myself a mk1 focus st and am just wondering if there are any special or rare parts you can source for them?

I have a few friends into vws and scouring the Internet for rare little parts for there's and it makes me wonder what's out there for the focus.

I already know about the heated leather recaros, (a possible Christmas present from me to me), climate control, luggage net and the foam bit for the boot allowing you to carry a full size spare.

But pictures and other parts are welcome

You can get genuine ford blinds for the 3 rear windows in a 3 door look like tints from a distance pretty hard to get hold of.

 

if you own a poverty spec 170, the OE sub and amp, Xenon headlights, rear spoiler

Boot tidy? Is that the net and bag combination thing?

If so mine was still bagged when I bought the car in the boot, not like it's a future "rs turbo towing eye cover" rarity is it?

 

The rarest thing is to have a rust free car.

Get under it, especially at the rear end and have a look. Take the fuzzy felt arch liners off and see what horrors lay behind.

The boot tidy thing by the wayis a solid plastic tray that sits at high level under the shelf and spans the width of the boot area.

 

also rarest thing on a st170 should be a engine that actually is 170hp rather than the 150hp they produced in disguise lol

 

What about the foam tray that sits under the boot carpet, don't see many of them around.

 

My lowly V reg diesel ghia had the polystyrene thing in the boot as did the Wifes S reg when we had it many years ago.

I don't think there is much rare on them, condition is everything though, start rust prevention now if it isn't too late.
