Converted to efi had it running an booked in for set up,fuel pump was high pitched so changed it for a known working one,but has a weird farting noise when i prime it,i changed pump again for another,an i get same farting noise but wont start,any ideas as its due on the rollers friday,

 

do you have fuel at the rail and is fuel returning from the fuel pressure regulator

 

Will check them both in a while cheers mate

Take top thin pipe off an get someone prime it?

 

when pressure is achieved at the rail it allows fuel into the engine whilst cranking, excess will return to the tank, yes the little return pipe comes off catch it in a jar crank very briefly,, then reconnect and check for spark with a plug on a lead near engine,
once the fuel vapours have cleared, has it ever run ?

 

There is nothing coming out the top of the regulator,is this my problem?it was running after conversion but had high pitched fuel pump,so replaced it,i do have spark

 

on a cvh fuel rail fuel is fed into the screw fitting end of the rail
return is underneath the reg , the top pipe is only vacuum

 

Ok so i need to pop bottom pipe off then,cheers will try it
