Don't think you need specialist breakdown cover! I've been with the AA FOR 30 years and driven transit all me working life, and unfortunately been on the back of there trucks to many times to count lol,
I think it's you that's covered and not the vehicle with most services.

its not me or one single person that's driving, its for our fleet of company vans up to 7.5 tons so id assume itll be company cover rather than personal ?

no standard rac cover wont cover you
the limit is 19ft long
my mwb sprinter isn't covered by their std policy so I had to add it as an extra.
cant comment on how good they are as ive never had to call them out.

I had a total nighmare with this

AA will cover my van ( with it being signwritten ) but wont cover my motorhome as its to big

RAC will cover my motorhome but wont cover a sighwritten van

so cant get cover for the full range of my vehicles so didnt bother with any as im not paying 2 premiums

some of the rules are a joke , why does it matter if my van is signwritten or not , they know its for business and are happy to cover my van with a trailor and a car on the back as long as it has no stickers on the van , even tho they know im a business ,,WTF

I'm with rac in a sign written van.
They didn't ask me if it was covered in stickers or not?

Since 2012 or so, all new MB vans get three years breakdown cover as standard. And as long as you keep it serviced in the network, that breakdown cover will extend for up to 30 years, with an MB tech coming out in a fully equipped van stocked with diagnostics and parts.

roughly how much is breakdown cover likely to be on half a dozen big transits and sprinters? oldest being a 59 plate?
