Default Mfi unusual idle

Hi all just a quick question, if an mfi turbo idles a little bit uneven what could be the cause? when you first start it it starts perfect every time and idles at about 1200 and then after a few mins it comes down to between 600-700 ish on idle, if I take it for a run with a bit of boost and then let it settle down it then idles back up at 1200 ish again? Puzzleing me I thought it might be the mfi unit it's self playing up but don't want to get a replacement without being sure. Thanks in advance

Should idle high initially from cold till the auxilliary air valve closes then settle to a steady idle (I think from distant memory about 3 minutes).
Can't help with your problem but I'd say 6/700 is too low an idle, should be nearer 900.

850 RPM should be the set idle, You can however change the idle speed(under the throttle body) this can sort the idle speed out. But really shouldn't be playing round with it unless you know what you are doing.

Get it set up, is the usual answer and I stand by that answer.

Could be a few things, but air leaks are always the first thing to check with MFI.

I've had a good poke around and I can't find any and most of the vacum hoses have already been replaced?

A little bit of help from someone on here has said to check the cts so I'll give that a go and see if it's working properly

Right had a bit of a tinker around today and after about 50 test drives up and down the carriageway I'm hoping that I've got it but I'll have to wait until tomorrow when it's gone back to cold before I'm sure. Managed to get the idle to settle about 900rpm which I'm more than happy with so fingers crossed.
