Default Amal Valve

Hi all, I've been tidying up and tracing some of the wiring in my saph and noticed someone has added an aftermarket switch into the wiring if the Amal valve. Anyone know why they would have done this? Would it effect the boost with the valve off?

Cheers JC

Yes, some call it 'Two stage boost', when it's simply a switch

It's as you say, when the switch is closed you have full boost and when the switch is opened (i.e. off) it removes power, thus lowering boost.
