its a good event so feel sure some will make the effort

 

i been every year for the last 8 but i'm not going to make it this year

 

I gave up going about 5 yrs ago was a good show but got very much the same cars year after year oh and ticket prices

 

Haven't been for years wen is it on may have to pop along

 

same weekend as ford fair

 

was good back in the day, went for about 6 years running in the early 2000's, a couple of those were wild, one year the idiots set the TV platform aside the strip on fire and when the pod fire people come they took the truck and hoses off them! as mentioned the ticket prices are daft now Ł70 quid each, used to be Ł12 when I started trying to go to sleep with cars revving off the limiter constantly till they break. another year someone stole a head unit out of one of the demo cars ran across the strip and over the bank, 5 mins later two lads dragged him back, out cold, back over the strip by his feet still out cold. ohh and the toilets forgot about one year it didn't stop raining everyone got stuck it was like the pictures of glasto, with mint cars ploughing mud

Very varied to be fair plenty of jap boring crap going fast once lol

 

Used to go all the time but seemed to get worst and worst as years went on so gave up going

 

I just imagine the show to be full of max power style cars.

 

Must be better than seeing Fords full of filler going slow everytime

Lol I used to enjoy the show went every year from 98 up until 2010 but just got same old same old I know a load of my mates still go

 

We run the 3 door up the strip and even though it's not predominantly a Ford event you still get the respect from other owners.
Sometimes Ford owners are their own worst enemy as other car fanatics seem to like anything while we have become insular ???

 

Couldn't agree more, The amount of stick i get for my love of old volvo estates is shocking
