Brand new to this site.

I've just bought 16" Escort Cosworth alloys for my Mk7 Fiesta,
I was wondering if you can tell me what tire sizes I should be running them on.
I think standard 16" for Fiesta alloys is 195/45/16 but obviously the cossie's will be different.

Any help would be much appreciated.

 

iirc the standard tyre size on a 16" rim for the Mk7 Fiesta would be 195/45/16 but due to the rim width being 8J you'd want to be wider than that to avoid the dangerous (but often considered "cool" stretch), a 215/40/16 would give a very close rolling radius to standard but not sure if the offset would give the clearance needed.

 

I had 195/45/16 on my Cossie wheels on my Mk6. Is a bit of a stretch which did worry me but no problems to report. Not sure what the offset is for the Mk7 though.
