basically i dated a girl about 2 yr ago, she lived in nottingham, we went to a car show exhibition i think it was the mansfield derby area somewhere around there.

weather was good so maybe a late spring/summer thing, there was a craft fair selling paintings, models, tractors, old steam machines, lots of old classic cars, hot rods, bouncy castle things for kids to do, big open grass area

for the life of me and researching various things into google i can't find what its called or where it was.

anyone know the one I'm on about?

 

Could be one of the many shows that are on at Thoresby Hall? This Sunday its Ford & Jap Day - now called The East Midlands Transport Festival. These are run by Andrew Greenwood's Classic Shows. There is usually a wide selection of cars on display as well as some kids rides and items for sale etc. Entry also gives you access to the Hall and gardens and craft village. The postcode is NG22 9EP - provided the weather holds out it is usually a great day - I will be going in my red S2 with others from Notts RSOC. There is another one on August bank holiday for Mini's and other classics

great thanks for the info, its this weekend and only down the road from me here in lincoln, its not the event i went to few years back and ill properly never find out what it was but other events like this make up for it.
I've got a s2 mercury in the body shop at present if its back by saturday and not raining ill bring it along with its wonky mk6 sunroof that I've not quite finished fitting

just picked up your reply fella, i took the audi instead as it was raining and the sunroof is a little open until i get it sorted one evening, i saw lots of motors, sadly the rain let it all down
