Restoring RS Turbo S2
Hello everybody from Barcelona
Firstly congrats for the forum.
Let me introduce myself, I have an Escort RS Turbo S2 form 89. This has been my first car, and now is the Sunday’s car. However, my RST have little problem. For every day I drove a SEAT Cupra R.
Let’s go to the “work”
1.- I’m going to change the rear brakes. I think the drum diameter is 228mm. Is it ok?
2.- Somebody said to me that its possible to mount directly the caliper of a Sierra in the Escort, is it true?
3.- in other way, I have a leak in the thermostat housing, See pic

Is that part of the housing a cap or smth like this???
Thank you for your help

Hey welcome. The rear disks will require.
Disks and pads and calipers from same car either 2wd or 4x4.
Rs2000 handbrake cable
rear brake lines
brackets to hold the calipers in right place
