Hello i'm Mark from Italy, in my country it's very hard to find aftermarket parts for my car (escort s2). I need to change Coil Spring and i found two model of springs.

i need to know if i buy fk automotive 75/50 mm loweing spring: i must cut the suspension stem ?

 

Aftermarket dampers would advised mark, though I would say 50 to 75mm on rst's is not very practical and neither the best for handling. If you went for the 40mm option you should be ok on your standard dampers but notice a sharpness in the handling department

 

I wouldn't go past a 40mm drop 30-35mm will be most suited.
