as with any escort its an issue but has been for pre mot and will pass but will need work at a later date and thanks glen its took me a long time to even get this far

Good on you mate. I find it funny when people spent mega money on a track car when the thing thay love is driving and whether its a fast car or not it's still fun to drive on a track. Why not just strip it out and put a rool cage in and enjoy?

 

that was my thoughts exactly and believe you me this has been built on a budget of Ł750 to get this far so overall i'm impressed with whats come out of it that's including the head gasket replacement new exhaust an manifold took over 18 months to get this far

Money is always the probleme. I so desperatley want to fix up my mk2 fiesta bit like you got a escort track car. Except it a mk5 rs 2000 x track car whitch and a accident on track and badley bent up the reat wheel so got it cheap.

 

yer my daily mondeo swallows more off my money than my misses and kids lol

there adequate but serious money pits tbh mate if you dont find a well looked after example unlike me this 1 was in a barn for 18 months rescued it from being bangered but has cost me a fortune in the process

 

What suspension is on that in the 1st pic and is it the same as now? It looks real tight to the top of the arch so am just curious as when its on lock it cant afford to have much if any movement. Thats what I need on mine lol.

Aah not good. I live in france but when we get back to a decent country we visit friends in essex and there is one just left in a drive and never moves. Was very temped to ask if it is for sale. But dont think mum and dad will be happy if i get a nother car. All ready told them i am on the look out of my dream car a mk3 capri and thay didn't take that to well. Lol

no just that 1 mondeo but 1 of the mechanics at the garage has 2 fiestas and a mondeo and 1 of the owners has 1 too

Mk4 has a round front. The mk5 has bigger headlights.

 

Rite a little update on this the engine is smoking quite heavily blue white and black God knows what the black is possibly soot so I think a new engine is in order
