Default Brakes system

Afternoon all had a bit of an issue today with my brakes on my 3 door. The pump would not prime and build pressure it just kept on running. It seemed like it was not sucking the oil as the reservoir level remained the same.
And as a result the handbrake/pump warning light came on(As did not reach pressure), it has done it twice now over the last three week.
It only seems to do it when it's hot (Malta 32 degrees) as if you leave the car for an hour or so the pump primes fine and the pressure switch shuts it down as it should.
I have been trying to find out what the small brown relay and 2 x brown Diodes I believe are for? They are located next to the ABS ecu on driver's side on the same buzz bar holder as the 2 x ABS relays and fuses?
Any help re the above issue would be great , anyone know about the tevis brake system?

Thanks very much.

Tim.

symptoms of fried brake fluid because the turbo heat is boiling it

there are 3 relays that also control the abs so if one of those is stuck it may be the cause of the problem also

it's not advisable to drive it in that condition though

Yeah I know , won't be driving it. The relays are fine . I agree about possible brake fluid boiling, but it has a heat shield and the down pipe from the turbo is wrapped.
The pump does sound like it's trying very hard to reach shut off pressure though.Name: IMG_0341_zps68b14f30.jpg

Thanks all.

be aware that the 3 door abs is just ever so slightly different to the saph version from later in the day

changing the fluid might be the easiest thing to eliminate first before starting to check other stuff out, but you could be looking at ultimately a new master cylinder setup if it's worn out

Thanks Dojj, I changed the fluid two days ago prior to what I believe was a boiling fluid issue.
At the same time I fitted new standard bosch discs and pads along with refurbished standard Calipers from GGR. Bleed as per ford instruction flushing through a litre and a half of DOT4.
It was very tight sliding calipers/pads over discs, and as a result were quite hard to turn the hub.
I have done 43miles since fitting and the wheels seem to turn a bit easier now but there is still a slight resistance. Is this normal ? do they need to bed in a bit?
Saying that I do not think this slight binding has anything to do with the boiling fluid as it happened a couple of weeks ago to prior the changing the calipers/discs and pads and these do not bind at all.(6 of the eight pistons were seized beyond repair)
I read a thread on here somewhere where Stu (MSD) was mapping a car and after a motorway run hit traffic at which point the same situation as mine occurred and as mine when left to cool down the braking system regained composure. That being said this car had no heat shield and I believe MSD was using a make shift one.
Mine is fully shielded and the down pipe wrapped, although it's a hell of a lot hotter in Malta! Yet with this in mind a car that's used on the track must be dealing with relentless heat transfers causing all sorts of issues? I would have thought this might be one of them?
I understand that there are subtle differences with regard to the 3door braking system and I am trying to find out exactly what these are?
