hi there, i am new to the forum residing from south africa, currently working on my 1980 MK2 escort fitting a 2l turbo motor, also started a 1974 MK1 escort planning to fit a 2l n/a motor. i want to widen the rear wheel arches on my MK1 but not sure how, any suggestions will help, thx

ok I finally got it wrong way around but at last some after and before pics

 

 

Hi a mk3 capri is a lot wider and has a tougher diff 52inches infact,
a 48inch was fitted to mk1 capri`s you might find 1 somewhere
your mk2 looks great

Mk2 looks great, i had a red RS 2000 years ago, spent a fortune with a garage getting re sprayed 5 speed box burton 2.1 rebuild and seats redone.
Had it back a week then some one nicked it of the drive. (VRO693S)
