Arrow 7.5" Gripper diff - SOLD

SOLD!

7.5" Gripper diff for sale as I simply just don't like it!
Bought new from Barra earlier this year and built up by G.E.A.R.S into a Cosworth casing. Only covered less than 1000 miles in that time, with ten minutes of track use.

This diff' puts the power down superbly and has no whines, but I was pretty surprised at how clonky it was. So much so that I even sent it back to G.E.A.R.S for a full check over. They found no issues with the bearings & casing, and then they sent it on to Gripper for a full test. Gripper then confirmed it was all good.... Seemingly they're just meant to be that clonky!
Quote from the email:

"We have had the diff inspected from Gripper and there is no fault with the unit, it has all the latest plates internally and it has tested 100% fine."

It is currently being built back up with new seals, and will be available later in the week.
(Gripper diffs also come with a lifetime guarantee).

£1100

Also I would consider a px on a good tight recently rebuilt OE LSD or 7.5" open diff.

I would try the diff with Castrol B373 LSD oil, it transforms the diff, it will be much quieter and less clonky.

The new owner can try that... I'll be very happy to get either a welder or tight viscous LSD in my car next instead!
