Exclamation What cam to buy for a S2 RST

right I'm rebuilding one of my rst engines but I'm unsure on what cam to buy, I've had some work done on the head its had new valves ect, i have accrilite pistons and rings, and some H-beam rods (unsure on brand as i bought them ages ago) also my crank is getting re ground and ill buy new shells and stuff when this gets done, everything on the engine will be replaced,

as above I'm just after some advice on a cam, probably going to keep car on MFi aswell, thanks in advance.

Newman cams. Give them a call and explain your set up and they should have something for you.

Ran a new ford standard cam @ around 20psi boost as recommended by a decent tuna said if I wanted to go any higher then try a newman but at that power a standard cam will be more than enough engine was a little modified ...

Newman cams are the best of a bad bunch these days, wouldn't fit anything else as I've seen so many fall apart in no time at all even after being ran in properly and given all the care in the world! lol

285 is ok if it lasts as some people experience very rapid wear rates.
285T2 good peak power at the sacrifice of everything elsewhere wouldn't bother

Ran a 285 in an 8v XR2i with no problems at all.

My RST's both ran Kent CVH 35 cams to good effect with no wear issues but have heard people experiencing this problem.

My cash now would go on a Newman
