Doubt there are many Escort Cossie owners willing to fuck their cars up like that to be honest.

No, becuase everyone going for that safe 8 and 9x18 Comps or rondells, so boring.

But over all these years, someone got to have tried something a bit wider?

and, whats the spec oof the 18" replica Escos Wheel? 8x18? what ET?

EDIT:

Does anyone know what ET Guido had on his car. the green one on the pic. or do anyone recognise the red car?

Haven't a couple run 10" rears in recent years? Seem to remember the rear arches were modified quite a bit though.

Although it might be different, there are an awful lot of ride/handling negatives. With the cars motorsport background, ruining that aspect of it probably doesn't appeal to most. And Ford people don't like change much anyway

Mine with 8.5x18 on front and 10x18 on rear.

Rears wont allow use of coilovers or a six degree beam due to clearance issues.

What ET are those Wheels? front and rear.

I know H&R have a coilover kit thats coils in front and damper+springs and in the back. Then it would be no problem?

and how about 9.5" With coilovers in the back, still wont fit? Depends on ET maybe

Does Martin Hadland's current car run 10" Comps on the rear? Did YUM at one point too?

I might be making this up entirely, but I'm sure I saw a set of Escort WRC wheels advertised as 18x8.5", though I thought they were all 18x8" on tarmac.
