Default problem

My 2wd sapphire cosworth runs fine apart for 1 thing. When I try and drive very slowly like crawling up to a give way etc to let cars pass when I accelerate very slowly and easy the car splutters and I have to press the clutch down and rev it. Sometime it kangaroos slightly if I accelerate slightly faster. But pulling away from stationery is fine just when it's crawling.
