This is where I'm upto roughly with my 1.4s. Bought blind off eBay for the massive sum of £330. 300 mile trip home and a few patches for mot it was road ready. As my winter car. Stuck some snow tyres on, fitted a heated seat cover and off it went

Tin worm had set into the arches and the general mismatch of paint was doing my head in. So time to tackle. 2 new arches and all but the roof was painted. Set my deadline as ford fair.

What a cool fezza. I think mk2s look mint lowered and on a set of pepper pots.

 

Bought some new to me rims for the mk2, never seen them fitted before so thought I'd try to be different. No real after refurb pictures as the light was piss poor. These are the befores




And afters with the lips polished and the centers in anthracite/gun metal. That's the bodyshops managers mk1 rs2000 on the ramp having a bit of an underside resto for summer

 

Gave the mk2 a bit of a wash at work today. Put on the new 4 branch and exhaust on aswell. Hangs bloody low though.
