Angry cam cover leaks! H E L P !

Hello!today i have a total rebuild on the engine on my sapphire cosworth 4x4 and i have some leaks which comes from a little hole between the camsaft pulleys.
Any idea?

yes im sure thats an overflow if your gasket leaks and fills up the chamber where your spark plugs are , so you will need to check the gasket is seated ok in that area by taking off the cam cover and having a look !

Hi Hog!Before the rebuild i had the same leak.Now i use group A head set gasket but problem remain.
This photo is sample where it leaks:

There shouldn't be oil coming out of there mate that's the chamber where your spark plugs are located , the gasket must be leaking bad ! When you put the gasket on add a little grease on the paper gasket on both sides and make sure you torque the cam cover properly.

Take your number 1 plug lead off and shine a torch in and it should be full of oil , so you will have to refit or renew the cam cover gasket as said before

+1 with Richard.
The tightening sequence is important, like a head.
The cometic gasket is very nice to this.
And did you put a little bit of sealant in the corner next to the cam shaft bearing seal

I always use a cosmetic gasket with a little instant gasket just to be sure . Never fails!!
