Been to every scrapyard in sheffield to hunt down some front and rear bumpers to tidy my MK1 mondeo up however no luck what so ever. Was speaking to a guy who's had a few mk1's + mk2's and he said that with a bit of fiddling about the MK2 bumpers (plenty of them about!) should go on the MK1. Anyone know if this is true? If it is, it'd be nice to get the RSAP pack on the MK1 there's plenty of them knocking around scrapyards for sure.

I could be wrong but I don't think they will very easily. If they did then there would be a lot more RSAP kitted MK1s kicking around! I think that undamaged MK1 bumpers are like gold dust, as most have been gaffer taped at some point.

 

I think You have to change the bonnet,wings and headlights aswell to make it fit

 

Finally got a phase 1 full RS accessory kit for it which is in good condition. You're right the mk1 mondeo bumpers must of been built by playdough.

 

I swear the mk1 bumped each other when coming off the production line... However, I have seen two recently with absolutely no gaffer tape whatsoever on the bumpers. Also. I would guess that the slam panel would need changing too if it was to be converted to mk2 front.
