I have to steering column a one from a Rs sapphire and one from a glx sapphire which should I use since the glx's column is longer and fatter

 

There are 2 types of column
Adjustable and non adjustable
And then further down in tge engine bay they can change to 3 different types, 4wd, non power steering and power steering versions

Which one have you got?

 

I have both adjustable and non adjustable and 2wd power steering rack from the rs
