Right folks what do you think insurance will be like on a 17year old that has just passed his test? Want either an s1 or s2 Any you folks think i might stand a chance? If cant get insurance think i am just going to go down the r5gtt way

at 17 i don't think you've got much chance getting insured in any of them , not even the french thing

 

Ive tried, and tried, and tried some more,

Im 18 with a years driving, but no no claims, and they still try to bumshag me

£1800 is the cheapest ive had fully comp, but with a limited mileage(8000p/y)

£1600 third party, no limited mileage policy's etc....

And £1500 on a classic policy, again, with a limited mileage, (5000p/y)

Thats what i was thinking mate r5 shouldnt be a problem one of my mates has one and hes not long passed his test

Theres a guy near me i know of, has a green R5GTT, buckets etc.. looks pretty nice, found out the other day he's 17 and only passed his test a couple of months!

Dunno how he gets insured, but good on him what a car he has.

i was 19 when got insured on my s1, paying 1800,
no no claims could previously been driving under my mums policy,
which i regret,
my insurance is limited mileage and i already done the limited miles
in 6 months
