suggest you actually add pictures to this advert as they show up on another forum ok as not everyone can be bothered doing detective work following links to other places

I'd do that, it looks a really nice original car, best to make it look dead standard.

Thanks Parky for the comments. I think I may of sold the Rs , waiting for the deposit. I bought opening side windows off you a few months ago.
Did not put them on after all. Felt they were not standard for an Rs 2000.
Your have had Mk5 Rs2000`s in the past so your comments were very welcome, I will take them off . Regards Colin.

Think that was known as a MK5b rather than MK5a. The twin bulge bonnet MK5 was just a MK5 wasn't it?! ...might be about off putting for some folk. I'd not had bothered looking if I'd known it was a MK5b, true story.

Cheers,
Grant

Commonly known as MK5b though lol

MK6

But, hasn't it got the wrong interior trim? Should be alecantra (sp)?

There is no such model as a Mk5 B.
Cheers Colin.

Hello Minirotty.
Thanks for backing up what I already knew. Mk5A.
My car was one of the first MK5A`s. Some of these early models had the MK5 interiors. Cheers Colin.

There's a high level of RS2K geekery in this thread, I'm out of my depth.

All I know is that I had an RS2K like this, epic car, but always wished it was an original MK5.

Cheers,
Grant

Default Rs 2000 mk5a

Hello all.
Thought I had sold the car. The buyer wanted my bank account details,
Which I was not willing to give him. The deal was done on ebay , but he did not have a paypal account. I hope I done the right thing.
So the car is still FOR SALE.
Cheers Colin.

Dunno the exact details on what the deal was with your buyer, but as you say further up your a bit new to all this internet stuff, I cant see why you might have concerns.

But mainly giving your bank details is safe, ie sort no and acc no, the same no's that you would be happy to hand over to anyone when paying with a cheque for example.

paying for a car with paypal, can be ok, but to me seems to ring alarm bells, as its really does favour the buyer into claiming his money back!
