Rite to all you 16i geeks......

Need a new fuel tank for this vehicle,
Done a bit of research can't find the correct one so what mods need doing if any to fit a say rst tank or xr3i tank or is there a better matched one out there,

What tank do you have on the 16i? a 40 litre or 48 litre (early or late) if its the 48 litre its the same as a S1.... carparts express do them (may be temporarily out of stock , but more comming) if you have the early tank, you will be very very lucky to find one, my advice would be to fit the later tank, but you have to make some mods to the fuel pump area.

How would I know it's y reg.....2 bolt strut top if that has any influence.....

 

2 bolt is usually the 40 litre tank but not always , do you have a pic of the fuel pump area?

 

Not at minute will get one up as soon as I go to look at it.....
