Default Escort RST Series 2 manual fan switch wiring help needed

Hi all
I have fitted 2 10inch fans onto my radiator and I want them on a manual switch on the dash
My questions are... what is the best way to go about doing this, what gauge cable do I need? What amp fuses? And do I need a relay? And if so what amp and how do I wire it all up?
Many thanks

Why on a switch mate? Better to have them come on automatically when they should, no risk of forgetting to turn them on! lol
If your getting too hot and are thinking about turning them on early then you have other problems to sort out.

Agree with that.

There's a recent good post about wiring up twin fans properly on here.

Do as I've done. Keep the standard set up with a manual over ride switch. Fan will then come on as it should as normal but can override it to come on early. To be honest, if the cooling system etc is all up to scratch you shouldn't ever need it.
