Default big wing sump

hi Where is the best place to but big wing sump?

and does any no if a 4*4 engine with 4*4 sump.fits in rwd.cossie

If you are going RWD you need a RWD sump.

yes i know that
but if engine fits straith down with 4*4 sump
u can easily made own big wing
weld again the drive shafts and u get more oil

I was going to get one for mine as I'm going 650 bhp but was told don't bother un less I do track days as it's not needed and most of them leak any way

What about when accelerating and braking hard Andy?? even on he road surely you would feel better knowing it wouldn't get oil starvation

i think standard with baffle and oil cooler is. vet good
but Big wing is very good for cooling oil to

That depends on were you are from really I've an oil temp gauge in mine and never seen my oil hot enough to need a cooler. Over cooling your oil could be a problem

Yes of course but oil cooler with termostat is good
and big wing u Maybe not need
but baffle is most important i think

I run my 3 Door with one, just make sure the sump is made by a competent fabricator and welding (you can't go wrong with Mark @ MK his work is excellent) and most importantly buy a good quality baffle otherwise you risk wrecking your engine.

I don't do track days so have been told not to bother stick with my baffled normal one so that's the route I'll be taking to save the expense

The baffle is made by Joe @ Bluesprint give him a bell on 01621 744881
The sump I made myself and got Craig @ Dyno Torque to tig it all up.

It's each to there own I guess it don't really matter iver way I'm not bothering as I was told by the guy who is building my engine and I value his opinion so I'll use the money else wear as he didn't seem to rate them on road cars
