right lads i need to swap two wires on on throttle position sensor plug how do i pull pins back out of plug without breaking them.

 

You can buy special tools for that, i think Durite make them

 

I have a lead made so you don't have to touch them ,just plug it in and away you go , think I've got another one

 

I use a small paper-clip for these kind of connectors.

 

had a go at pulling out pins and the broke so I cut plug off old loom and soldered to new loom .thanks for replies

 

Pretty sure these should be crimped mate as the solder can affect the voltage read from the sensor at the ecu, ford made repair kits which were the connector with pig tales to join to old loom, these had crimped splices and heat shrink to connect and werent soldered.

Also solder tend to break loose under vibration
