Pretty sure these should be crimped mate as the solder can affect the voltage read from the sensor at the ecu, ford made repair kits which were the connector with pig tales to join to old loom, these had crimped splices and heat shrink to connect and werent soldered.

Also solder tend to break loose under vibration
