Default Fuel pump noise

Is it normal that my fuel pump whines so loudly? I'm asking because occasionally when I start up the car the engine struggles to start, or it starts but it struggles to get up to 1000 revs. After I bought the car I changed the fuel filter, and I let the fuel drain out from the old filter and it was reeeeeeally dirty. Anyway at the end of the month I'll hopefully get a full check by Oppliger, it's only 20 kms far from my home.

MFI fuel pumps are a lot louder than standard ones. It's hard to say on a video if it's too loud or not, but it sounds as it should.

Almost sounds too high pitch as if its low on fuel, do you get any hesitation when boosting?

Higher pitch or buzz noise indicates wear. Should be a nice low buzz. If it sounds like you low on fuel all time, this also a sign of pump on way out.
