Terrible coverage tbh.
Said the same last week. They skipped from the 50s to the 80s in the last episode, then when it finished up with the Sierras...I thought tonights episode woulda been action packed.
10 min worth of Sierras and it was straight onto John Clelland and the Cavalier, Soper in the E30 M3 and Rouse in a Carina. Then 45 mins of early 90s pish!!!
This series is a bit like waiting for bad sex or a Honda v-tec engine - a let down!!

So,next week will be all present day stuff?
....Yawn.

It was a bit piss poor, thought there would be Sierra stuff.
10min scan of You Tube could find the complete programme really.
Was more about Soper/Cleland's smash in 1992 than anything else.
Showed Mansell crashing the Mondeo at Donington,
The two Toyota's crashing at Brands (Rouse/Hoy) and Silverstone with Murray's classic "Car upside down is a Toyota' line

Bit of info about Soper, he runs a BMW dealership in Liverpool area. Mate's Dad has worked for him, apparently in his home and the dealership there is no sign of his racing career at all, no pics,trophies..nothing!
I found that a bit odd.

Mansells shunt was a biggun iirc... Remember him, with the on board 'mike, panting while trying to collect it and the 'noooo!' just before the hit, sounded proper scared...! :-o
Don't blame him!

Just watched it on itv player as was on work until 22:00...
Was a lot covered witching a hour...
Loved the late 80's early 90's btcc...
It was proper racing back then in great cars...
Modern btcc will never be in the same league as it was back then...
Enjoyed watching it...

I watched it last nite. It was ok tbh. I noticed the sapphire cosworth touring car. They were the days when touring cars were good. I thought would of shown when that black Nissan Primera crashed and went over the fench.
Was great to see all the races I watched as a kid, i thought Clelland was a moaning sod then and I do now! He clearly cant let go like the other chaps!
Lovely to see all the different RS500 liverys that arent the well remembered ones!

Enjoyed the programme but agree with the disappointing coverage of the Sierra's. Considering how much they dominated in the late 1980's would have thought they would have showed more of them. Out of curiosity when they switched to the 2.0 formula in 90/91 and Ford used the Sapphire what engine did they use? was it the cossie lumps but restricted power or was it n/a engine?

BBR even used a 4x4 driveline and Trakstar used a central gearbox
