Does anybody know if the st170 cams will fit into a blacktop zetec head? As alot of people reckon locking the st170 cam at 110 degrees works well on the original engine I was thinking they would make a really cheap power mod for the standard 2.0. I know the st170 cams have slightly more duration and lift than the normal cams so in theory would work like a fast road set but without the £500 odd price tag as they seem to be around £30 a pair on Ebay. This of course all hinges on whether they will fit. Ive found a picture of the st170 head and can see that the first bearing at the adjustable pulley end is larger than the rest and i'm not sure if they are on the normal 2.0.

Any help and advice greatly appreciated.

Won't fit. Completely different head design and the inlet cam has variable timing with oil galleys in the head
