Default Exhaust size

I am comming to the point where i need to look at the exhaust system on my Mk1 cossie conversion.

I am looking at getting a 2.5" system all the way through from the turbo.
the reasons are lack of space and i want more torque from lower down the rev range.
The car has a T34 with .48 exh housing.
running approx 370-380 bhp on siemens injectors & harvey gibbs chip....

Whats your thoughts on the 2.5" downpipe, i think this is the standard exhaust bore size....

cheers Tim

You will need a 3'' system for that spec, and if you having one made make sure you have a boss put in for lambda sensor. will help for set up/mapping.
