Friend of mine has a transit connect 54 plate, this eveing he got home and switched off and the fuel gauge went up to full, then a while later he went back to it and when he started it the gauge went to empty or just below and stayed there!

anyone got any ideas? cheers in advance

Ever filled up but got back in to see the gauge hasn't moved?
I have
Moaned at them for ripping me off in the petrol station too lol

 

Needle has gone off the scale its at 9 o'clock. Could it be the gauge at fault?
