Ok so its been a while since i updated this but ive been busy working on the Cosworth and doing DIY and sitting on my arse, first off i had trouble with it only firing on one cylinder and sombody sujestest it could be the power valves (it wasnt) but what a ball ache to remove the old screws, had to weld a nut to the top of the screw

don't go too small on the number plate.. No point getting pulled for it being silly small..

smallest I went on my older bikes was 7x5 (pre current reg numbers) and I currently run with an 8x6 on my current bike which is a '2010' model. Looks neater and fits the back end nicely without being so small that it takes the piss..

Probably a 7 day rectification notice and Ł60 fine and the risk of the vehicle being taken if you get caught too many times for the same thing.

7x5 on my old ZX6R, it was only a 2 digit number so could go a bit narrower but even that maybe on the small side these days.. It was 'a few' years ago now

Reflector is a legal requirement for a bike but I didn't like the ugly bolt on one that came with the tail tidy that would have meant 2 more holes in my nice plate.

I need to get another one to stick to the standard size plate that I will have to re-fit for MOT time.. They are cheap enough from local bike shops or Ebay..

ZX6r is long gone.. Prob had 5 or 6 bikes since that one but it's has some fond memories attached to it as it was my first 'sports' bike.. first track day, first knee down etc etc..

I had an RGV250 a few years back, was the white one with the bright graphics, think it was a 93/94.

Best bit was I only paid Ł100! Guy at work managed to break the chain and in turn that damaged a couple of other bits. He'd neglected it a bit and i went through the whole thing, power valves were seized etc. the bodywork was really clean, sold it for Ł1200 which is probably cheap these days.
