st170 gearbox swap?

st170 gearbox swap?
i am just wondering if the st 170 gearbox is a straight swap into a 2000 2.0 mk1 focus ?

I belive you need to change the driveshafts and possibly the hubs for the 170 gearbox to fit, also the gear linkage

Flywheel (dual mass if using standard item), clutch, gear linkages and gear lever, driveshafts.

Why would you want to swap from the MTX75?
The getrag box ratios are rubbish for the focus.

my focus crunches into third gear and there was an st170 gearbox just up the road on ebay going cheap and was just gathering information really.
