It begs the question, when there were so many Escorts around, why go to the trouble and expense of importing such an 'ordinary' car?

Have had a few emails from the seller, the car came over with a USAF serviceman and was registered in 85, the guy then returned home and left the car.

 

Got to be worth up to £500 or so. It needs tidying up no doubt, but how many do you see at a show? It only takes one eejit to walk past it and say
"gee mister, I had one just like this back home. Here's a wad of cash. Yee haw!"
Definitely worth a bid in my opinion.

That has been on ebay for many of years. OK may of not been listed for some time, But those pics are years old.

 

might have been a half decent car at some point, but turned into a bag of spanners while here, i expect it was gonna cost more then it was worth to ship it home, it's gonna be expensive nightmare
