I think you should mount it in the glove box. You'd get a nice glowing effect round the edges of the door

It's fookin well bright. Switch had one in his cossie. You could see it go off 5 cars behind him. Was quite funny though

you can buy little caps to cover the light so its not bright if i remember correctly, mate had one on his rally slagged mk2 escort and it had a cap on it that dulled the light down alot and allowed you to see after it lit up

they are WELL bright without a cap though

 

fook me that would blind everyone behind you

 

I know im a little slow at times, but im just not getting it, why would someone invent that?

Surely to be driving the car in the first place you have sat a driving test proving you are capable of changing gear, why do you need a light to tell you............ or is it there as a reminder?

 

Stick a bit of masking tape over it!

i remember seeing it at the back of the convoy back from wouth end though jims xr4x4, a golf ralle and another car

scots was more like a infred sniper light would shine on ya head and ya thought it as gonna shoot a cannon out of it

 

You could change the Colour and brightness of the light by slipping a Johnny over the end

 

I've got a simular light in my car, but as well as telling me to change it gear it also tells me when to stop and go..............

 

Not dissing the shiftlight, but is it just me or does anyone else listen to the engine for changing gear? i very rarely look at the rev counter TBH and always seem to "Magically" change gear at around 6700k

 

I suppose it would be ok if u were deaf and couldnt hear the revs
Some people have been watching fast and furious abit too many times!

 

I actually worry about the mods you decide on let alone the ones you pick when you are pissed
