Default Car battery question for my S2

Car has been good as gold until I moved out of home. Because of the grief of moving in the S2 sat in the garage at my mums house for 6 weeks and in that time the battery ran flat. Now the fooker won't keep it's charge.

I've always stuck the bigger battery out of the Diesel Sierra in but am wondering whether it's really needed. Any suggestions before I go to the motorfactors at lunch and part with some cash?

I used to have a three amp sound system but that is all in the wardrobe since the fitting of the roll cage. In two minds about possibly putting it back. Dunno if it makes any difference but the amps are Kenwood's PS100 (front speakers), KAC626 (rear fill), 400w Powerslide (subs). No power cap or anything though.

If you have a lazy starter the extra cranking amps always helps
