Default sportka restoration

hi guys just wanted some advice really just bought a 53 plate sportka se originally was only buying it as a work run about so has a few small rust spots in the usual places e.g fuel filler cap and rear wiper. door seals are good so am lucky there, its done 110000 miles but still drives lovely. which is what brings me here i absolutely love it the handling and chuckabilty reminds me of my old wrx sti and although not overly fast id like to keep it for longer then originally planned and do it up. so what other things should i check for that may need attention eg welding and bushes. also would like to know if anyone on here has the st 120 upgrade and how they find the reliability of this upgrade

mnay thanks

front subframe mounts, rear chassis legs, inner sills, floor to sills, front chassis rails.

Also have a very good look at the bulkhead where the clutch master cylinder is, seen a few go here.

had a look under it today door sills r good rear chassis legs look OK checked under back seats n boot inner sills couldn't see anything there haven't checked properly around the bulkhead but am going to my friends garage Wednesday to put it up on a ramp and have a thorough look. petrol cap surround is starting to bubble at the bottom so that's gonna need doing and slight bubbling on the rear wiper. lambda sensor needs replacing so do the bushes not sure whether to go genuine ford or whether anyone has a better recommendations

Once it bubbles at the filler, youll need a full repair panel. You can have a couple of square centimetres of bubbling and grind it back and have basically half the rear quarter panel GONE.

Isn't there a repair kit for the filler area? Assuming the whole rear quarter isn't rotten as said
