Default Postage cost for exhaust??????

Just bought an exhaust on ebay, and he wants £30 postage.
Is that too much or about right do ya reckon?

Its in Reading so might go and pick it up, not sure yet.

I posted a Magnex exhaust for my 306 back to the supplier today and it cost me £16 on Parcelforce 48.

I'd say a cossie sytem would cost ya a bit more than that, maybe £20

If he's using a faster service though it could well be close to £30

I wouldn't be too bothered about it personally, it's not outragous imo

to be honest tho mate its too late to be wondering this as youve already bought the thing, should decide this before bidding

but its not just a price for the postage cost, an exhaust is kinda awkward to wrap up requiring loadsa bubble wrap/boxes tape etc

i sent a 2nd hand mongoose backbox all properly packaged and labelled, by royal mail parcels (£11 odd for 6kg).

theiving pikey royal mail lost track of it and it took me 4 months and 5 claim letters to them just to get my £100 back (i'd paid for insurance cover)

no explanation given as to how they lost a 3 ft long 6kg exhaust backbox..
