Default Rear beam bushes

Been told that the big poly bushes on the ream beam is a no no as makes the car to hard etc? This correct?

Nope.

To save all the millions of posts on this, we'll make it really easy, and I'll just wrote what is the generally accepted opinion.

The BEST way to do on a standard beam is:

Poly beam mounts x 2

Std Ford trailing arm "bushes" (2 inner, 2 outer)

Poly ARB mounts

I've done mine and have no complaints at all, tightens up the back end a lot

Hmm, not sure what i got on the car at the moment

I know i havent got the big bushes on the beam, though i have got some but since moving i dont know where they have gone Will have to dig them out.

Changed mine last month as the back felt loose and the front was already done!
the car feel's spot on now

Rhys, have a chat with Karl about this

I followed his advise and fitted Group N donuts and kept the standard wishbone bushes, and poly arb bushes.

Dont change the wishbone ones to poly as it promotes rear wheel steer.

Mine drives perfect after these changes.

Simon at Woodford is doing some good prices on the bushes by the way....

I'm with you there Tony!

Mine's got solid rear beam mounts, and rose joints on the trailing arms! Just tryiong to track down a Ford motorsport ARB, and there wont be 1 bush left on the back of the car!
